2020 RFR GUIDELINES BEFORE THE RACE There is a strict limit of 50 running participants. Masks are mandatory before and after the race start. Social distance is observed in every instance possible, with a larger starting corral. Runners shirts and bibs will be individually bagged with names written on bag to simplify the process of finding one's items. Bathrooms will be open for use, as needed. All runners will need to sign a waiver indemnifying the HIWP and race organizers. DURING THE RACE Wearing masks is not required during the race, but we ask that runners run with their mask and raise it to pass another runner. Runners may lower it when the pass is completed. Timers and volunteers will wear masks when runners are in their vicinity. Social distance is observed in every instance possible. Water on the course will be in individual cups, as normal, filled by a volunteer wearing a mask and gloves using bottled water. Water station is unmanned, as normal, with cleanup after the race. AFTER THE RACE Masks are mandatory after runners finish the course. Spectators will need to wear masks at the finish line. No group food will be provided, but individual water bottles will be available. Properly spaced photos, with winners in masks, will be taken. Bathrooms will be open for use, as needed. There will be no fire this year, so runners are encouraged to observe social distance in every instance possible.
